Services

What you do matters. That’s why we do what we do.

You’ve got a message and you want to be heard. But the online world is full of noise and eight-second attention spans. How can you stand out? We are experienced content creators and we can help you leverage the power of video on your website and social media pages.

We make videos that capture eyes and retain attention, use emotion to prompt action, clarify complicated concepts and services, increase your reach and build client trust.

Case Study: Our video increased their impact 1,000%

Saint Meinrad Archabbey and Seminary sends out information on their Facebook page several times a week. Usually, each post reaches about 1,200 people. We created a fundraising video for them, “A Place of Constant Help,” which was shared by fans nearly 100 times and seen by 12,000 people, increasing their reach by 1,000%.

Let’s work together.

We will work with you to design a video that will accomplish your aims and communicate your message. Then, we will take care of the script writing, on-location or in-studio shooting, interviews with you or your clients, voiceover execution, video editing and refining, graphics creation, music scoring and finishing. Our streamlined production process can get the work done in less than a week.

Need some ideas? We have created fundraiser videos, event recaps, newsletter updates, service features, testimonials, employee/client features, seminar recordings, concept explainers and much more!

Case Study: We completed the project in just three days.

Monroe County CASA asked us to capture their karaoke fundraiser, creating videos of the full performances and two social media promo videos. We filmed their event on a Saturday and sent the first edits to them the following Tuesday. The rapid turn-around allowed them to capitalize on the excitement that had already been created by the event.

We’ll keep it budget-friendly.

We believe that people serving their community deserve to be highlighted, even when their budget is tight. That’s why we are committed to providing low-cost, quality content specially crafted for small businesses, non-profit organizations and Catholic or Christian groups.

Once we give you a quote, we will stick to the budget or the difference is on us. If you are strapped for cash, we will work with you to develop a video that can be written, filmed and edited by one producer, maximizing the quality and minimizing the expenses. What’s more, non-profit groups receive an automatic discount.

No money at all? Here are some thrifty solutions.

  • Secure a sponsorship: If you are a non-profit, you can ask a business to fund the video for you. We will include both logos in video and give copies to both groups to share and promote. Your message reaches a larger audience, while the business builds trust and credibility within their community. If the business later decides to create a video of their own, we will give them our non-profit discount to say “thank you.”
  • Use the video to fundraise: After your video is complete, we can create DVDs of your project or copy it to personalized flash drives. Then we will provide a legal release (at no extra charge) allowing you to sell your video as a fundraiser. You will keep any of the money raised beyond the cost of production and materials.
  • We do pro-bono: About once a month, we donate our services to exceptional organizations. Want to get on our to-do list? Contact us!

Case Study: Our video raised $1,000 in profit

One of our producers created a short documentary about the Ohio parish St. Joseph Church on a shoestring budget. The church then sold DVDs of “Struck Down But Not Destroyed” to their congregation as a fundraiser. They made a $1,000 in profit in just a week.

And faith-friendly too.

Faith-based groups have very specific needs and concerns regarding message and content (and rightly so). You can rest assured. Our producer Katie Breidenbach has an extensive knowledge of the Catholic and Christian faith, culture and theology. She worked directly for the Diocese of Brooklyn for three years and is a regular contributor to Catholic News Service. Under her leadership, we are committed to using video as a tool to inspire hearts and open new doors to evangelization.

Our Passion Project: Fulton Sheen Timeless Wisdom

Archbishop Fulton Sheen was the best-known television evangelizer during the 1950s, but his long speeches have been largely overlooked by the internet audience. Our video series illustrates abridged versions of his ideas and ushers his timeless insight into the 21st century.

We know video.

We have made hundreds of videos that equal millions of views. Our work has been featured on Catholic News Service, IMDB, NET-TV and EWTN, to name a few. And we have won awards around the world.

Clients love us. And so will you.

Katie Breidenbach of Thing in a Pot Productions was a phenomenal videographer.  She worked with us to record our 3rd Annual Stand Up for Autism comedy event.  Her professionalism, her timeliness, and her final product made her a pleasure to work with.  Katie's video helped to showcase not only her talents but what we are doing for the local community. We highly recommend her and all the work she has done for us.

Thing in a Pot Productions is truly a one-stop shop when it comes to video communication. The video they produced about the baked goods of the Sisters of St. Benedict was a real hit in the community. Better yet, it motivated people to send in orders for the sisters’ cookies. And the process was so simple, as Katie Breidenbach was fun to work with and put the interviewees at ease. She is creative, full of ideas, an excellent videographer and video editor. And it all is a reasonable price.

Working with Thing in a Pot Productions was an extremely positive experience. Katie came in with professionalism and creativity that went beyond our expectations. Her communication style was easy to work with and she was very open to listening to what we wanted. The end products have been useful tools in bringing awareness to our non-profit.  We will definitely be calling Thing in a Pot Productions again.
